On June 22nd, owner of KTBS, Jeffrey Kent, passed the IRS test and is now officially a Registered Tax Return Preparer. He was able to pass without having to take any prep courses or workshops. Guess he’s learned something over the last 31 years!

This designation will be required of almost all preparers by Dec. 31, 2012, except for CPAs, EAs, and attorneys.
